Who we are
Florida Data Centers (floridadatacenters.org) is an independent informational website tracking proposed hyperscale and AI data center projects across Florida's 67 counties. We also offer a paid Florida Data Center Preparation Brief product. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.
What information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form submissions: If you use the contact or tip form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you send.
- Preparation Brief intake: If you purchase a Preparation Brief, we collect your first name, last initial, email, street address, ZIP code, county, your selected concerns, hearing-attendance status, and any free-form context you provide.
- Payment information: Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see, store, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or full billing details. Stripe sends us a confirmation that payment was successful, plus the email address you used at checkout.
Information collected automatically
- Web analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies. It collects aggregate information such as page views, country, browser type, and referring website. It does not track individual users across the web.
- Server logs: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) maintains standard server logs that include IP addresses and request information for security and reliability purposes.
How we use your information
- To deliver your Preparation Brief: We use your intake information to generate your personalized Brief. We use your email to send you the Brief and a permanent link to access it.
- To respond to your inquiries: We use contact form information only to respond to your message.
- To process payment: Stripe uses your payment information to complete the transaction.
- To improve the site: Aggregate analytics help us understand which pages are useful and which need improvement.

- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- We do not rent your information for marketing purposes.
- We do not use your address or location data for any purpose other than generating your specific Preparation Brief.

- We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or behavioral advertising tools.
